The inclusive education project on supported its decision-making is launched

RC ZELDA toghether with partner organizations from the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Great Britain, Slovakia and Spain is implementing the Project “Inclusive Direction in Education of Adults on Article 12”, financed by the ERASMUS+ program of the  European Commission. Within the project there will be developed a position paper on the right for the full legal capacity and supported decision-making, a report on the best practices in the implementation of the supported decision making and a guide on inclusive training; and each partner will organize inclusive training workshops. 

 

On January 16-19, 2017, in Zilina (Slovakia) the first inclusive training in supported decision-making took place, during which the pairs of trainers (each pair consisting of a person with a disability and a person without a disability) were prepared. The training of the trainers will continue in July in Leeds (UK), the participants will learn, how to assess whether the easy-to-read texts meet the needs of the target group.

 

 

Project Nr. 2016-1-CZ-01-KA204-023975 is being implemented during the period from 01.09.2016 till 31.12.2018 under the Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices, Strategic Partnerships for adult education. The project is implemented by: QUIP (the Czech Republic); Land of Harmony (Slovakia), PLENA INCLUSION ESPANA (Spain); RESURSU CENTRS ZELDA (Latvia); CHANGE People (Great Britain), TUYA (Spain); “LIETUVOS NEIGALIUJU FORUMAS” (Lithuania) and the the Protestant Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague (Čehija).
